Drop Shipping, New Changes and New Clearance Items 

It's been awhile since I updated the blog, and in this case the wait was well worth it!

This post is going to contain quite a few updates so you might want to grab a drink and get comfy first :-)

The first thing I want to talk to you guys about is Drop Shipping. It occurs to me that I have not been advertising this service enough, and I want to make sure you know what it means for you guys.

For those of you that have been to my home "store"- you know that it is small and limited on space. It's just a dining room after all! Even with 3 Ikea Expedits with diapers piled high, there simply isn't enough room for a "small potatoes" shop like mine to carry every item that a company makes.

With Drop Shipping, I can order a product on the wholesale site I order from and instead of shipping it to my place, I have it shipped straight to you. For me, it's great because I don't have to worry about hitting a minimum re-ordering fee every time I need one or two things for the shop or for you guys! For you, it's a great way to explore the entire line of products by a company.

For example, I tend to stock one size diapers. Let's say you are more interested in trying an XS FuzziBunz in Cotton Candy Pink instead of the Elite One Size in Buttercream that I have on my shelf. And you'd like a Diaper Sprayer with that, please, since you notice that's one of the items I don't carry in store. No problem. I can order that for you and have it shipped to your door.

You might be asking, why not just order it from FuzziBunz directly?

Here's why:

Next up is a few changes in the Buttercup Baby line-up. Through trial and error I have found products I personally love and by getting feedback from my awesome customers I've also found out what you guys like and dislike. You may have already noticed that Sweet Pea Diapers,  Lunette Menstrual Cups, and Plum Organic and Ella's Kitchen baby foods are no longer offered at BB. I'd much rather save the shelf space for things that you ARE interested in, and a recent survey prove that those brands were unpopular. I am also limited to a 500 item plan of virtual space on the website, and since I love hearing your requests (Laundry Tarts! Wolbybugs! etc) I need to make the necessary changes so that I can bring new and exciting products to Buttercup Baby. If you have a request, please feel free to shout it out on the Facebook wall. I'm always interested in what the latest and greatest products in the cloth diapering/ natural parenting world are. 

As I side note, BabyLegs will still be available in store, at craft fairs/festivals and shows, and as promotional items (from time to time). The limited selection of BabyLegs that I had was taking up 48 slots of my 500 item allotment!!! At this time BabyLegs will not be available for online ordering.  Through trade-ins I have accumulated quite a stash of "Gently Used" cloth diapers. I only accept diapers with very, very minimal wear and they must be in VGUC or higher, so you know that you'll be happy with your purchase! This is a great opportunity for people in the market for discounted diapers. Or, maybe you've been wanting to try a new brand but want to make sure it's GREAT before you invest? This is the section for you!
